ATO collaborates with local civil society organizations for an ESG Conference in Panay, Philippines

The ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) Conference, held on 30 April 2024, brought together a dynamic community of 66 participants in person, with an additional 72 joining virtually via Zoom. We extend our heartfelt appreciation to all attendees for their invaluable contributions, which achieved the full facilitation of the event.

This conference signifies an exciting milestone in our journey towards sustainable multi-sectoral initiatives for conserving the Northwest Panay Peninsula Natural Park (NPPNP) in Northern Panay Island, Philippines.


The event was made possible through the generous support of Angat Bayanihan's Frankies New York Buffalo Wings grant, facilitated by Angat Buhay. We are also grateful for the invaluable collaboration of our event partners: Philippine Initiative for Conservation of Environment and the People, Northwestern Visayan Colleges' Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs and Masters in Public Administration (MPA), and  Aklan Trekkers Inc.  Their commitment and dedication were instrumental in bringing this event to fruition, and we look forward to continuing our shared efforts toward a more sustainable future.
