I. Organization Background
The Alpha Team Organization is a registered Philippine-based youth organization that aims to provide a social and creative activism platform. ATO is registered under the Philippine Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) as a non-profit organization (non-stock corporation). The organization has previously facilitated several projects that are part of its thematic areas and priorities.

The organization provides interns with hands-on involvement in planning, implementing, and assessing projects. This internship program aims to immerse participants in social and creative activism, facilitating both personal and professional development. Interns will benefit from a supportive environment designed to cultivate key skills including social media campaign management, communication, and project coordination.
II. Job Summary
This assignment will include the following responsibilities:

1. Finance and Administrative:- Dealing with routine administrative work and secretarial duties such as task management sheets, minimal accounting work, and attending coordination meetings related to administrative tasks in the organization.

2. Programs and Social Engagement: – promote the organization’s activities related to social and creative activism through program conceptualization, implementation, networking, grant application, and communicating the thrusts of the organization to target communities. 


3. Social Media and Campaign Management: to promote relevant campaign information and public campaigns related to the active projects and current campaigns of the organization.
​III. Eligibility Criteria
Applicants to the ATO internship program must, at the time of application must meet the following requirements:
  1. Preferably enrolled in a degree-granting program of study
  2. Preferably recently graduated with a university degree and, if selected, must start the internship within one year of graduation or be enrolled in tertiary education and undertake the internship as part of this program.
  3. Applicants should not be more than 35 years of age.
  4. A working knowledge of social and creative activism is an asset.
  5. Satisfactory written and spoken English.
  6. Satisfactory interactive and interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a multicultural and remote environment;
  7. A savvy in social media and communication platforms preferably Google, Facebook, Instagram, X, and LinkedIn.
IV. Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Assist in developing and planning new programs or initiatives;
  2. Create and maintain program timelines and ensure adherence to deadlines;
  3. Track their task progress every week or if necessarily asked by their internship coordinator;
  4. Monitor program budgets and expenditures;
  5. Provide administrative support to program staff and participants;
  6. Develop and maintain program documentation, such as registration forms, agendas, and reports;
  7. Facilitate communication channels for program participants (e.g., online forums, social media groups);
  8. Assist in program evaluation by collecting and analyzing data on program effectiveness;
  9. Identify areas for improvement and recommend changes for future program iterations;
  10. Prepare reports summarizing program outcomes and recommendations;
  11. Submit accomplishment report if requested by the internship coordinator/organization president.
V. Supervisory Relationship
The Interns will report directly to the Secretary of the Organization (Internship Coordinator) and the President.
VI. Duration of Engagement
The Interns will engage with the organization for 3 (three months) and shall render at least 5 hours per week. ​
VII. Incentives
The positions offered are remote and voluntary. There is no renumeration or stipends that shall be given. Interns who satisfactorily completed the program shall receive a Certificate of Completion, a membership offer, and other non-monetary incentives from the organization system. Interns will also be prioritized for future hiring in the organization's funded projects according to their demonstrated performance and commitment.
