The ATO formally participated in the proceedings conducted by the Local Youth Development Council (LYDC) during its first meeting on October 15 held in the town of Pandan, Antique Province, Philippines. The organization has registered its domicile in the area since 2017, acknowledging its origins as a youth peer organization founded there. The discussion primarily aimed at addressing youth participation in addressing local issues such as employment, governance, health, environment, etc. The organization was officially represented by its local focal point and current vice president, Richard M. Rioja. Together with its pool of local members and past project volunteers, the organization affirms its commitment to becoming a platform for the youth to empower their leadership skills and create long-lasting changes for the betterment of their community.
