Embracing New Members: Membership Orientation Welcomes Diverse Group

On 17 February 2024, the ATO's Membership Committee warmly welcomed new members through a virtual orientation on Google Meet. This diverse group hails from countries across Africa and Asia, reflecting the reach of the organization's impactful initiatives – both virtual and on-site – in these regions.

The engaging orientation included informative presentations led by the organization's esteemed Vice President, Anne Ascaño, and Secretary, Avalumun Kaa. They provided a comprehensive overview of the organization's history, goals, future aspirations, and current projects, offering new members a clear understanding of their future involvement.

The interactive session lasted approximately 45 minutes, followed by a lively Q&A segment. New members actively engaged, posing questions about specific projects and exciting partnerships with organizations and communities in East Africa and Southeast Asia. The session concluded on a positive note, fostering a sense of connection and community amongst the diverse group.
